Yuri vehicle series 2 of 3.

This is another model and texture that I have done.

It was modelled based on the install screens and textured based on the concept art.

This gave me quite a bit of trouble when it came to final tweaking of texture, and the truth is that I am still not settled on the finality of the various shades of grey interspersed with red and orange.

I have again included close up in-game images, instead of the usual (useless) 3d Max images, so you can see some extreme close up detail.

The turret can point up and down right? Not just fixed like that? Other than that, it's really good. Very Happy

I believe it can if its properly rigged. IIRC they can even do "idle" animations where the turret has it "looking around" when idle.

Oh and the boons of the 3D CNC's...  Embarassed

The turret seems to be unable to rotate around the Y-axis, though. No doubt an excellent model otherwise.

Thanks for the comments.

The model is not rigged (they never are when I post them in this section).

I did notice that the turret was really close to the body. If I was going to rig this then I would definitely increase the turrets clearance so it was at least visibly clear.
The turret being so close is a by-product of modelling based on the install screen 3-view.
