No Zoom

The Magnification function when you right click is gone...? v1.39.50 is the latest version I have that it worked in.

Just an addendum, in SVN .232 version, the right click zoom works BUT very very slowly and stops with very little movement... hits a limit or something.

Earlier 1.38 zooms a little too fast, but doesn't seem to be as limited, I can drag the mouse to the top of the screen and it keeps going through the model.

So whatever scaling increment, perhaps find a happy medium between 1.38 and 1.4 ?

The Magnification Zoom exists, but it is does not sacrifice the right click anymore. It a magnification icon in the toolbar that you have to click at.

Regarding the 3D preview zoom, it mostly depends on how much you move the mouse. Bigger windows/previews makes zoom easier.

Direct comparison on the same voxel with same screen size (maximized) it's much faster to zoom with 1.38 and earlier.

Using the right mouse to zoom in the 1.4beta doesn't work right, ALSO because you have to let go of the click within close proximity to the window, or it won't let you unclick. So when you zoom in too much, you have to unzoom all the way to be able to get out of the zooming mode, defeating the purpose.

PS. I mean the bottom right pan, not the dedicated 3D viewer.

Ohhh I should mention, the preview pane also defaults to rotating around one of the outer corners of the voxel, and will only center if you re-calculate and apply the voxel header stuff...

Put the zoom on middle mouse button...
Should keep the UI user friendly for fast workflow..
