- Mutant Raven (which is only one flying animal)
And thats all. Although I recolored crocodiles into green, and white black cow into brick-black. I may upload it. _________________

Wc3 has stags and such, but it cannot be converted in any way, it must be done frame by frame via screenshoting, plus some colors need editing. _________________

But what do I need to open .flc file? I downloaded tiger and it contains few flc files and few wavs and some pcx. _________________
So far I've downloaded the Raven. Good to see that people have a need for this stuff. I'd like to be able to create maps as lush as WC3 as it had a really nice map editor from what I remember and a large collection of dooads and critters.
All of these little things make maps beautiful if properly placed. I'm thinking about making a little FA2 Mod that expands it with these little critters and stuff.

FLICster, Haosis. With that tool, you can export the fl(i)cs into pcx frames, reorg, convert to PNG, import, resize, tweak shadows if needed, done.

DaRTzO, regarding your question, one can do a FLC -> SHP conversion in about 20 minutes if uses Total Commander's batch rename tool and a good frame viewer. Psst can anyone of you geniuses link me to a guide to using tmp editor 1.05? Please. I'd really appreicate it. All my copied images are turning out in different colors when keeping to the same pal as I copy them in. :S
So that's 20 minutes per shp. That's quite a long time. I'll save it for when I have time to research it. I'm currently starting back up on the terrain enhancements. Thanks for posting though. I'll refer to it in the future.
There seems to be enough resources there to convert a wild life park for ra2/yr. QUICK_EDIT
I think that I can do frame by frame from Gifs to SHP.
However I will need someone to write sequence for them or I will just use one animal shp and adapt shps to it's frames. _________________

This is screenshot how look like Civ3 Tiger, Cow and Alligator from RA2/YR. Ignore colors on cow and alligator, I recolored them.
See this,
You see, RA2 palette ruins shadow! At least in TS Palette shadow is left and can be recolored.
Last one is how looks like resized to match real lise compared with stock animals in RA2.
Also, no bloody way that I am going todo all frames.
Just idle anims in all directions exported contain about 150 frames! Plus runing ones, plus attack ones, plus death ones. It would be 400-500 frames in total, and Alligations has 164 (328 with shadows), cow has 116 (233 with shadows).
So, if I try to do this, I will reduce their frames too _________________

The idle anims should be thrown out, Ready sequence can't have more than a single frame.
Just take the first frames of Idle, 2 Fidget for RA2 Idle, the moves and two die. Look at my pig as an example.
TBH the shadows you showcase in your post are still wrong. TS shadows use 1 on their shadow frames. Usually I convert with pals which have 0 as the orig bgcolor of the unit and 1-15 are shades of that color (if 0 is pink, then 1-15 are 220,0,220; 190,0,190 color pinks and so on) then merge those pinkish pixels into color 12 then use the RA2->TS shadow converter tool. _________________ "If you didn't get angry and mad and frustrated, that means you don't care about the end result, and are doing something wrong." - Greg Kroah-Hartman

I already made and released Tiger shp in shp forums. I adapted it to alligator sequence hehe.
And here, shadow actually uses 1 in shadow frames, even in those screenshots. _________________
If you have Age of Empires 2 & Galactic Battlegrounds you can probably make some from there too as thats where I got the original graphics on the raven from.
IIRC... Age of Empires 2 has also a Toucan & and a Hawk.
Galactic Battlegrounds has almost every Star Wars Creature so go figure...
