I planned to have two MCVs. One GDI and Nod. I made the Nod Variation of MCV by just recolor it. Unfortunately upon adding more entries to my rules.ini, I encountered a strange behaviors in both AI and standard human player. Their entries are already in rules and art.ini

Number 1. I play as Nod. And unfortunately after deploying my custom Nod MCV It successfully deployed to a construction yard but the prob. is I can't build a Power Plant it's darkened.

Number 2. I can still build base when I played as GDI like this. Also the Orca Transport goes wild whenever I order it to move and when its shadows touches the Harvester, it will go crazy.

But unfortunately MCV appears only in a small chance. Also the GDI AI is also affected by weird error where in it will have two Con Yards and build at extreme speed. Like this:

also, this Nod AI does the same too. I observed other AIs are working fine.

Orca Transport is bugged, it never actually worked due to Westwood laziness. (Oh, nice tank you got there, it looks like my Shepard Tank Smile)

What werr you trying to do? Are you giving 2 MCVs with different style for GDI and Nod? But why? That would cause problem with the prequestie for starting structure such as Power Plants. (If its black out, it might have something to do with prequesties.)

Edit: I personally like to have 2 Con yards for brutal or hard Level to actually make AI give the players a real challenge by outpacing human player.

Have you made a seperate clone of the Conyard for Nod too? (for example NACNST)
Does the Nod MCV deploy also into NACNST and not into GACNST?

If yes, did you changed the prerequisite for the nod power plant?

If you use seperate MCV's you have to set unit count 1, techlevel 1 for both mcvs. And disable all other starting units.

But If you are not planning to add 3rd or more faction it's not worth to make multiple MCV's for just GDI/Nod. Causing just too much trouble.

Well yeah and as for the prerequisite, it was left untouched. I already set the unit count to 1 and still the MCV has low chances of appearing (Nod)

simple: TI does not have 2 MCVS, but only one!
search for BuildConst on this forum and you'll see that this key is the problem and no fix is yet available.

SuperJoe however made several tutorials with workarounds for this issue. See tutorials and research forums.

I have all of Super Joe's tutorials at my home regarding Multiple MCVs. I'll update this topic once I got everything correct. Smile
