Subject description: Something I have been playing with around...

Came out better than I thought it would be with some little flaws that needs to be edited. Whats is your opinions about this one? I'm considering about making full remappable units because I personally like it better to fit RA1 and RA2 feeling in some way.

Well its your mod.

Its usually hard to pull it off on some units. (I.E: The Kirov) but in the end its your choice since its your mod.

Works well on this unit in this colour...  You'll need to see how it looks on other units in other remap colours.

Typically the remap colors are too saturated in TS/RA2 and full remap often makes them look insanely cartoony. RA1 etc use far softer colors for remap so it won't become such eye sore.

Looks good, but try to go a bit easier on the contrast. You're losing a lot of detail and it just becomes a blotch of color.

That can be tuned down when I change the color schemes.

It can be done with me changing the color scheme too. Green is more of lime green rather than dark green.

Thats because of shadow. I don't think it looks too dark to me, though maybe I will adjust it a bit to be little more visible when playing in map that have dark ambient. (but then again, it can be adjusted with UnitLighting to make it brighter too.)

I would seriously consider messing about with the actual remap properties as has been stated further up the topic.  Try a RA-ish blue, more muted.

Kirov seriously needs a rescheme.

Your voxels looks OK but that Kirov is so unghhh... it points out exactly why I hate working with WW voxels.

I think that you should only remap the "wood" part of Kirov. Don't touch cabin and the propellers.

Are the normals the same as the vanilla Kirov? Because the brightness(?) of the left side looks the same as the top. Or I just might be imagining things. And you should try what Orac and Apollo suggested. Maybe you'd get some interesting results. Who knows.

Not really, what I did is work on unit texture using Allied Scheme or Soviet Scheme and make it look good. Once I'm satisfied with it, I then switch it into remappable texture and there it go. It all takes some practice.

The problem with your Kirov is you didn't make the Old Remap areas into non-remap colors (I.E: Metal Colors) and then theres just the big problem with how everyone is used to seeing the Face on the Kirov. (Which just looks off and cartoonish with remap)
