anyone know exactly how much damage in the animation... Sad

like:

[S_CLSN30] ; just for example...
Normalized=yes
Translucent=yes
Report=Explosion14
UseNormalLight=yes
Crater=yes
Damage=1

By default Animation Damage uses the Fire(?) WH.

Damage is dealt per frame of the animation. I.E: Faster animation means the damage will occur much more quickly and slower animation will define how long it takes for the damage to occur.

Ares can let you customize what warhead to use as well.

No, there is Damage= tag, so you insert number there.
he wanted to say that this damage will be dealt to every frame. In your case, damage will be dealt 15 times.

Why do you need damage on animation anyway? You want to desolate something? Very Happy

by default FlameDamage2=Fire2
warhead is used for animation damage if not specified (only community patches support specify)

Example animation has 18 frames (since ra2) so 18x1=18 damage BUT we need to also calculate the Fire2 warhead verses effects on this value vs the various armor types. Given percentage X the frame dmg.

Given default verses for infantry are insane high, it will toast infantry immediatly and most buildings.

Ideally you should make new warhead for the job to keep it in check or stuff will die too fast or augment the existing far more sensible but that has effect globally in flame stuff then.

The idea is not new but can be very difficult to control ingame wise to be sensible.

RadLevelFactor=0.2   ; Scales damage done by a given radiation level.

Multiplier for Radiation damage, RadLevel * 0.2 = Damage.
For example: Rad level of 150 does 30 damage per tick and decreases steadily as radiation depletes.
