So, a while ago I changed the Yuri's Cloning Vat to Soviet Cloning Vat (original one, yes). I replaced the yuri one with the soviet files in the mixer. However, after saving it and went into the game to check the game. I play as soviet and built the cloning vat, but it still shows up as Yuri cloning vat even in the xcc mixer it shows soviet cloning vat. I'm assuming this is hardcoded?

Toplol.

Did you check the names of the SHP files? Did you correctly put them in a mix, expand, ecache etc.
Maybe you could just give the files a different name and refer to it with Image=, that way you can easily change the image of the Cloning Vats and I think it will properly show up.

Yes it is the same file name. I tried it a several times. Checked the artmd and rulesmd over to make sure it is correctly match the files. but since it doesnt change in-game, even it is matched correctly. It just makes yuri cloning vat. My edit colors on Soviet structures just works fine but cloning vat...

Leave them directly in the RA2 directory. More or less likely, the game isn't seeing them. It's also fair to check to make sure that there isn't a theater-specific set overriding the ones you have (ntclon.shp) since ngclon.shp will not override.

To be exact if there is no XG___.shp the game defaults to the XT___.shp so if its still showing the Yuri one check to make sure you have a XT as well as an XG set.
