Hello everyone! We have a couple of new tutorials that were posted in the recent weeks in our forums. Two for Red Alert 3 and one for Red Alert 2. I'll start with the RA3 ones, which is something that are still rare here.

Zengar Zombolt has posted the two RA3 tutorials. They are very simple to read and understand. One of them is about how to change textures in RA3 and the other is a simple way to convert W3X models from other games and factions into the ones used by RA3 (mostly by changing the shaders).

The other tutorial is a video tutorial on how to render 3dsmax units in Red Alert 2, written by HG_SCIPCION. Here's the video:

Have fun and share your tutorials with us. They don't need to necessarily be about any Command & Conquer games. If it is not about C&C games post it as a new topic at Other Games Modding forum and if it is related to graphics, videos or sounds post a new topic at Media Hut Tutorials.

The Shader tutorial can also be used to get models for TW and KW (with WrathEd), by the way

IMO I find video tutorials that are just a video showing something to be quite annoying. All that moving mouse around is equally annoying. Sorry I feel a video should be vocal to explain the process. Point here zoom in here . Its like watching a movie while you have a football game playing. watching a shoot out while hearing tom brady scrambles for 30 yds on a busted play. If the video has no vocals than there should be a doc/text/wps file you explain it......sorry, its how i feel about tuts
