Subject description: We've missed this news about 6 months ago.

TibEd 2 is now freeware... at least since may 2013. Too bad that I've only noticed while I was writting the news about the texture and TibEd tutorials. Anyway, TibEd 2 is an editor for Generals, Zero Hour and Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars. Unlike TibEd 1, TibEd 2 works like an advanced Notepad that aids the user to reach certain sections faster and provides features that makes programming easier for these games. Note that in order to mod C&C3 with TibEd 2, you must have the C&C3 Mod SDK.

For me it's: I don't care about a tool that modifies games which i don't care. Smile

@pd: the interface was always this way (also for TibEd1): slow, ugly to look at, wasting lots of space ...

If the name TibEd doesn't drive people away, the UI does. I suppose it matches ANY version of windows, mostly 95.

It does work at least, though I don't mod Generals+ enough to know if there's any maliciously handled code.

I browsed the older version for Yuris and I assume that this could be used to make people/vehicles/buildings? If so.....for Yuri I would say notepad would be easier, but for generals would be a nice thing. never modded Generals but might make things easier

it never worked for me for generals, so I ditched it as any future option for edit the game
