Subject description: Looking for opinions

Remade a lot of my stuff and now looking for a couple of opinions. Made this off ramp in 3d max. Right now it is one solid piece, but when I am done it will be 3 pieces.

Now, on this off ramp, look at the guard rail with green arrow. should i stop it around the pink area or bring it down the ramp and make the guard do hard 90 instead of the round bend.

The blue line should I leave it as it is or have an angled piece following the line, so the turn on to the ramp isn't a hard right turn. FTR, the ramp will be one cell so vehicles are no passing through the guard rails.

still needs some texture work and some lines added.

TS:AE will eventually EVENTUALLY (read never probably) have on ramps exactly like this, and my plan was to make the blue area cornered like you have suggested. I had also decided to forgo the guard rails as most examples I've seen of onramps (in the US) don't actually have them.

^^agreed. the rails would be useless there.

The posts are also always vertical, even along the ramp.

well LKO i hadn't gotten to the rail on ramp section being finished, but i guess its good you said that because I would have prob looked at it and debated how i should have done it.

Depending on how it turns out and how much work it is I might convert these to TS/FS

After a quick check it won't be that hard to convert these to TS/FS. I just need to export some extra images. Every thing lined up perfect (so far).


@ Regulus: you said you were gonna make these too? any idea of a wall texture and ground texture you want to use? if you want you can send me some textures & I can make you a preview.
