New Cliff template - WIP

New cliff template I am working on. I need an opinion, if you look at the arrows those are where the corners would meet. Any corner, whether is a 90 degree, 25 degree or 45 degree. Do you think it should have corner piece like the spot on the right marked with a blue arrow (which is not correct postilion)? This way it breaks the cliff up...

Its a work in progress the textures are not final and the cliff top edges are being worked on.

Would this look better? Just at the joints, corners, merging spots, not any where else.

In my opinion it would. Also, are you going to release all of these awesome tiles in some kind of a Tile Pack or Terrain replacement Pack?

I plan to release the files along with terrain templates for 3d max for public use so people can make their own. I will hopefully have a video showing in game because taking a screen shot makes them look off. that is as long as I stop scrapping the tiles to remake them... gotten kinda OCD with them

Nikademis mind if you PM me your installer of 3ds max becauwe I couldn't get mine work very well because it always says "the system in device cannot be specified" which is a mass pain of work because I couldn't install it no matter what. I decided to buy one weeks ago because of the thought of making terrains and more 3d related stuff. Sorry for the off topic.

On topic: try to fix the angle of the curving part of the cliff.

Not sure what you mean about Metal Mario editor as I have yet to use TMP Studio, but maybe along the lines of:

I see what you're going for, but the squares are kinda messy and monotonous looking, and the border needs to go. Also, don't be afraid to mirror, flip, and generally photoshop some nicks and graffiti, details really sell it.

As it's a template I'd recommend not having a texture or use something like the MM tiles.

Better yet, this ^. Marble Madness tiles work the best.

I use both the tmp builder/studio & metal mario tmp editor to make the tiles. it might be a weird process to do it, but it works.

WTH Mig are you inside my head or standing behind me? Early this morn i made a basic texture for the template that will double as Marble Madness. I have been looking at different textures for the walls. I can't find one that I really like. I have been sticking with the blocks until I find something. If my ocd of these tiles doesn't take over I should have 2 updated pics to show a little more complete work.

Well, the Border color is just temp till I perfect the pieces, once they are done then ill post of new pics of samples..... ill post up the process which i create things later..............
