Hello.

Usually using custom palletes, is easy.But as some of you may know, i made an upgrade shp for the tesla reactor.This shp uses a custom palette.

Here the code for the shp in artmd.ini:

; NOD Power plant active animation
[NAPOWRU]
Normalized=yes
Cameo=UPICON
NewTheater=yes
CustomPalette=power.pal ;In ARES
Layer=ground
UseNormalLight=yes
Start=0
LoopStart=0
LoopEnd=17
LoopCount=-1

Surface=yes
DetailLevel=2

the power palette is in the ecache45md mix, however ingame, the anim seems to you the unittem palette instead.

Any help with this? Thanks in advance.

P.S:I did run ares when i tried this.

This might be classed as a building instead of just as animation. So you might need to use Palette instead then create theater specific versions of each palette.

Building animations can't be repaletted, they share the building's palette. IOW, you have to insert aforementioned Palette to the building and not the upgradeanim.

I thought the mixes should be named like ecachemdXX.mix or expandmdXX.mix, but not ecacheXXmd.mix
