Dropship trigger(old TS logic)
Subject description: What if the trigger for it?
Hello everyone. I was poking around ModEnd and I found the dropship entry. So, I made the screen appear but I'm stuck on the arrival of those units.
What I created is:
Taskforce which has 2 SAPC's (I have set it to give 2 dropships)
Teamtypes with a dummy script which has the house manually set to Russia(player house in the first soviet mission in YR) and Taskforce set to the 1 above.
Waypoint 0
Trigger with any event and the Action is Reinforcement(Team) and my Team here.
Then, I launched the game with that map, selected my 2 HTNKs and 4 HTKs (I couldn't select my E1s for some reason) and I got aaaaa........ fatal error.
P.S. The only things I found about this were:
1. The ModEnc entry
2. This topic, which gave me noinformation. I suppose, it's related to something else http://ppmsite.com/forum/viewtopic.php?highlight=dropship&t=23058
3. DeeZire's guide which told me a bit about the flags but nothing about the trigger.
Can someone help me get it working?
P.P.S. Also, the fatal error doesn't happen immidiately. The game shows the battle for some time and then I get the black scrren. It's just about time for Any Event triggers to get fired.
EDIT
Found an interesting tag IsDropship. So, I made a copy of [ORCA], removed its weapons and gave it this tag+ PipScale=Passengers, Size and SizeLimit=99. Got the crash too.
Can someone tell me, what EIP 006E9AD7 means? _________________

Dropship not working correctly in RA2, he does not deliver passengers. However this does not negate the fact that you made a mistake when creating maps.
And use search.

Please, stop telling me to use search. I do use search, but it soesn't always give you the right results.
No one said that this thing doesn't work before, so it needs to get proved. And that thing..... I tried it, and noting told me that they didn't arrive, a crash told me that something's wrong.
Aaaaaand..... I just tried that map. Got a crash after some time again. I need to know what this is.

If I ever finish learning C++ and I understand how Ares works, the 1st thing I'll do will be all the TS things I have requested. (Veins+Veniholes+Waste Facilities+capaign map+this+may be something else I forgot to mention.) _________________

Had you read the bug report and noticed that it doesn't work even with Ares, you might have also stumbled to the conclusion it wouldn't work without it either. This would have saved you considerable time trying to test it and yet more time complaining about how it doesn't work when you tested it.
Regarding programming and contributing to ares, perhaps you should spend more time trying to walk the walk and less time trying to talk the talk? QUICK_EDIT
