Subject description: My first voxel. Just messing around.

So I just made this in about an hour so I was wondering what people thought of it. It's from scratch, and I did every animation for it.
It's pretty much some spider-tank-thing that I made for the soviets

3 voxel-thick legs feel anything but massive. It's good as a first tho, but check it ingame to get accustomed with voxel sizes.

Avoid 1-voxel wide walls. Voxels under these conditions will always have normal problems, regardless of your normals painting skills or auto-normals algorithms.

Yeah, seems to be random mod given quality of assets is from pretty bad to decent all over.

If you want to achieve quality restrictions on your stuff... make quality stuff at first. This isn't a bad start, but it's still being far, faaar away from quality ones.

The mod i've been working on is private for me and friends who play lan games I would never try and release something like this online with all the stuff i've taken from other mods etc.

Also one team is named after a friend who i play the mod with the most using cncnet and his team is meant to have a lot of junky and odd looking things on it like old technology and bazaar weapons etc. which is why i have use for voxels like this #Tongue But alright gistop i've honestly removed your voxel from the mod at your request

the voxel is too big for a normal WF

you removed the voxel because he requested you to? wait..... then what the hell is the purpose of having it where you can download it. If you take it from some one elses work like Migs, than its not fine, but when someone puts it up as a download WTF.

@Nikademis Von Hisson I see your point I actually took it out because when i tried to compliment his work just for the sake of being nice he turned around and insulted my mod and tried to assume the role of an expert only because a few people said his voxel was good for a first try.

my mod is a private mod anyway and i've asked around mig doesn't mind me using it for what i'm using it for

The shadow probably looks broken because I think this game can show the shadow of only one section, and that section happens to be one of the legs this time.

What has happened to the colors? They look messed up. Is it because team colour hasn't stayed as team colour.  Also there seems to be sprite corruption or something. I think I remember seeing that before only when a voxel was too big on screen, but this doesn't look that big so I'm confused.

better than i could do #Tongue - cant ever get the colour schemes right - whats the point of mixing and matching colours all over the place anyway? you know when you zoom into a ticktank on tibsun you see all the diff shades of red #Tongue - i can see why visually youd want to do it - one solid colour looks crap.
