That is true. When I make PCX Cameos for my mod, I use SHP Builder like this:

1. Make an empty frame with green color.

2. Go to cameo generator.

3. Write the text I need.

4. Extract as .jpg

5. Import in Photoshop and cut the text.

Yes, I have heard such things and comments about jpeg files.

Please excuse my next stupid question, but......

What is the defference?

As far as I know jpeg files are more compressed, which means that it loses quality and aslo they are bigger in file size compared to png.

But for such small picture what is better if I use png?

You seen those anti-aliasing issues with the exported cameo? Yea, that's JPG for you.

It is worth to say that JPG loses much of its quality after each edit or resave etc. JPG is only suitable for source photo taken with the camera.

Years ago, I was even thinking about modding it but lack of art. Nowadays I don't find time for OTTD to launch, albeit this comparison is among the best of what's it about.
