Out of curious, is it possible to have turret that rotates independently from other turret for RA2/YR? Like this ship which have 2 turrets that rotates independently from other turret.



How can it be done?

You can make two units.
One boat with turret and one with only turret.

Use Follow ID to make one follow the other.

Of course this can only be used in maps.
Don't let player control them.

It will looks really weird. :3

*ships moves, then turret follows the ship after a few seconds later*

However thats a bummer that it won't work. Hopefully ARES can add independent turret logic.
