Yuri Moon Loading Screen

I was disappointed LeftHand's loadscreens didn't include one for the moon, so I gave it a shot myself. I think it turned out rather decent. I made it using LeftHand's PSDs. You can use it freely but please credit me and LeftHand.

I would personally say that you should make the top bar transparent as well.....

Those blue lines are really distracting. _| is the shape they make, under that moon.

Those lines are there in LeftHand's loading screens and that is why they are in this one as well. Same for the top bar.

Well, it looks out of place, recolor it to pink or purple?

That LS version is out of date and I only put the lines in because I wasn't aware that the game already puts them in for you. Regardless, I updated the LS some years back and you're better off using the latest version which has; improved textures, uses activation of space and has a mostly monochrome palette to increase overall image quality.

This is the latest version.

Although I never got around to adding a moon loading screen on this one.

Many of the layers use a specific color overlay in their layer styles. More than likely, it probably needs it's color overlay to be changed from the Allies usual blue color scheme to a purple to represent Yuri.

Those lines look purple to me. Don't trust me though because I'm partially color blind. #Tongue

I checked and the color is #e300dc.

LeftHand, I think the background on your new loading screens is better because the colors are more even and less distracting. However I do not like the country box. It boxes the country in too much and it doesn't even fit all the time (like in the example you posted). Plus it hides the background for no good reason. I also don't know what the black lines on the right are supposed to be. It just does not look aesthetically pleasing to me. I think the _| lines in the old version are preferable because they add some boundaries without cluttering the screen.

Askeladd, if you're partially colorblind, grab a copy of the picture and hueshift it into hues you can visibly differ from each other to notice these issues. The edge of your moon loadscreen does have a bad color.

I can see what you don't like in the new lefthand psds, but there's the psd - if you don't like that particular layer, you can as well remove it or increase it's transparency. #Tongue

Thanks for the tip GD. I can see the color difference now. I fixed the line color and updated the first post.
