First of i am green at this plus innept so i have likely made a mistake
i downloaded the latest edition of the mod and when playing campaign or skirmish the screen does not change - i must enter menu then exit and it refreezes - games have been interesting so far #Tongue - i have TD, RA and TS installed through first decade - although TS doesnt work. It also says i havent got the latest download and when i try to update it comes up with a message
saying that repeated download failure firewall something.
Do you have any idea what i may have done wrong ?
looks like a excellent Mod hope you can solve this so i can enjoy it
thanks

With the information you provided the only thing I can think of right now is that your virus scanner/firewall might be too strict and thus be preventing DTA's client from starting the game.

Can you try disabling the virus scanner and/or firewall?
Most virus scanners/firewalls can be disabled by right-clicking on their icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen and then clicking something like "Pause protection".

i have tried disabling the fire wall completely this hasnt worked unfortunately
the only firewall i seem to have is the windows firewall in the control panel
i have something called mozilla fire fox - but seems more like a internet search engine and something called microsoft essentials that seems more like a scanner and its set to scan on sundays
i am not savy with computers ,,, :/

Glad to hear that. I'm guessing you changed the Renderer setting to TS-DDRAW?
