First off, what is THE best editor for voxels. Keeping in mind ALL I want to do really is change the colors of these bad boys (IE a green tinted disc thrower).

I realised that I SUCK at all this voxel editing I just can't get it, how the heck do you guys do it! It's so DANG HARD!

But here is my real question, I hope this belongs here but, how exactly do I add voxels and stuff that I have into the art.ini? Or where do I add them? I just don't understand.

Also anyone reading this, any and all voxels you might have, and even recolors are WAY appreciated if you'll lemme use them. It's personal use only. I just want to make nod and gdi have immense army selection. I also want a little variety on the unit pics (If I could get like 10 recolors of every unit...god...that would be heaven. But I just gotta learn how).

look on the left sidebar of the PPM Site Main page and scroll down until you find Voxel Editor in the Projects Section.

Dude, Voxel Editor won't help you recolor a disc thrower... Infantry are SHPs, not VXLs, they require a SHP Editor, not VXL Editor Smile BS SHP Builder can be found in the same place as the Voxel Editor, in Projects section.

yeah... Nobody is correct there.

And about your question of getting voxels in-game... boy have I got a tutorial for you (I even wrote it) http://www.cnc-central.net/page.php?file=/ts/tstut It is called "Adding new units into Tiberian Sun" or something like that.

Good luck

as for voxel editors, I use like all of them... I use will's for reskins, and deluxe or vseII for making one from scratch.

But when you voxel is finished and you want to get it in-game, just follow the tutorial I posted above.

you should try vxlse 2 for repaint, the_kid... it has a colour replacement tool which saves 90% of your reskin work...
