Hi not sure whats causing the problem but on whatever speed i set the game to it runs super slow and online slows other players to a snails pace.

Buzzing with excitement when i came across this mod. hope you can help me Smile

On which OS do you play?

Try a different renderer setting and see if that helps.
Main menu->Options-> Renderer
then try the TS-DDRAW, if that doesn't helps the IE-DDRAW

You can also try checking "Back buffer in video memory"

If you're running Windows 7 and are using an Nvidia graphics card, then the drivers might also be the issue. The performance in TS and TS mods became very bad after GeForce driver version 344.48.

First try setting the renderer to TS-DDRAW like LKO suggested and see if that already gives good enough performance. If not and you are indeed using an Nvidia GPU on Windows 7, then installing an older GeForce driver version is your only solution.
Version 344.11 is the latest GeForce driver version with which TS and TS mods still ran properly, so try installing that (but make sure your graphics card is included under "Supported Products").

Keep in mind that using an older driver version only improves performance when you're using the Default renderer. The Default renderer gives best performance for most Windows 7 users (TS-DDRAW comes close, but is slightly worse), but Windows 8 users all get much better performance with TS-DDRAW (the default renderer gives outright horrible performance on Windows 8), while IE-DDRAW is the only renderer that allows you to run the game in windowed mode properly on Windows 8.

I changed rendering to IE-DDRAW making the game open in window mode and run nice and smooth Very Happy

upped the rez to compensate for small screen, and im happy with that.

In default I get a frozen ingame screen
TS-DDRAW runs very slow, to slow to play
IE-DDRAW runs in window mode at correct speed

dont mind having it in window mode Smile
