This is a simple model and texture that I have done of the Tiberian Sun Nod power plant.

The usual design issues are present, due to me not having any design skills, however with some fine tuning of the texture, and also adding lights and particle FX, I think that this would look OK.

The towers lack detail, especially on the inside, it looks like a very thin mesh. Overall, the whole structure looks pretty great, though. Texture is very high quality. I'm also digging all the piping.

What kind of detailing would you expect on the inner towers?

The towers do look very thin, maybe extrude the inner tube so there is a small edge around the top.

Sounds like what I'd do, yeah.
Dirty inner also sounds like a good idea, warlock.

Since they are cooling towers, not smokestacks, a dirty inner would be wrong.
It would be better if they get a steam (white smoke) animation.
An alternative would be a up/down pulsating water level like shown in the classic tiberian dawn powerplant cooling towers.
With this anim and the added lights it should work very well.

Detailing and texturing is good as always.

It would indeed eventually get steam animation and lights.

Has for water, I have checked the model out in a number of maps, and not once was I able to see inside the chimney to the depth were something like water would be worth doing (currently I have a simple blue texture).

Thanks for all the comments!
