I found that if I rig any model with the ra3 bones, the animation can be imported  later. So I tried to rig the ra2 official ww tanya model with ra3 bones. It turned out to be......wired? But it looked promising after all. Can use this to create nice, different looking ra2 assets.

I bet there are plenty of good 3dmax users here so please, someone, help me rig that thing.

That's because of how Max rigs work, aims are universal, you can use any anims as long as the character has the same type of body, Max comes with a bunch of stock anims as well, i slap on any of them on a properly rigged model and they will work.

They should be in all Max versions but dunno where so i just use those.

Google "free mocap anims" and you can also use those out of the box.
Only problem with the recorded mocap anims is that they have a lot of frames so they can't really be used in RA2 unless you optimize them
