Weapon with visceroid-ing effect
Subject description: Possible or no?
There is a particle system exploit in Tiberian Sun that allows you to create a weapon which turns its victims into visceroids (via a hardcoded property of BehavesLike=Gas).
Is it possible to re-create that in ARES in some way since the return of Tiberium damage? Can I make a warhead which inflicts 'tiberium' damage and hence causes its victims to turn into Visceroids? Or are Visceroids explicitely only created if someone dies to damage dealt by tiberium overlays?
Note:
Yes, I know I could use mutation logic, but 'true' Visceroids (with the merging feature and all) are VehicleTypes and it is not possible to create a mutation effect that turns the victim into a VehicleType so that is not the way to go. QUICK_EDIT

Wow, a good 1.5 years old...
I don't know if the 'how' question was resolved in that thread, but I would suggest instead of tying hardcoded Visceroid transformation to any BehavesLike, TiberiumTransmogrify should be a per-warhead stat, allowing to set a chance at which that warhead causes Visceroid transformation rather than DeathAnim and death.
