Not sure if this is the right forum for it because I'm not really posting files, but I was just looking for Vocaloid alternatives and stumbled upon this website:

http://www.oddcast.com/home/demos/tts/tts_example.php?sitepal

If you are strapped for voice clips, you can create all sorts of cool content with it. It has dozens of voices in many languages/accents. You can use the "bullhorn" effect to give the voices a "radio connection"-like sound effect, or use "Phase" to make it sound robotic.

I know the pronounciation isn't optimal, but you can try repeating letters for an emphasis effect. It's still mostly suited for units that should have a neutral, cold tone of voice.
Hope some people will have a use for it, I'm so totally using the Japanese/Phase voices for my units!

It could serve as a new EVA.

If you are not posting downloadable files, discuss it on Media Hut.

Sorry about that.

Try saying "Building in progress" with English/Elizabeth(UK)/Bullhorn ON.
Won me instantly for that idea. #Tongue

Yeah, but a lot of the voices would need to be further edited to sound acceptable for the game. Some of the various voices go way too fast.

You can achieve alot by adding or leaving out vocals. For example "Reparing" sounds alot better than "RepaIring", for some reason.

Daniel (UK) works pretty well for a male EVA with the same bullhorn setting.
