I think the TW foxhole looks better. This looks kinda alien-ish imo.

This is so far away from looking alien, it actually looks like some metal plating bunker.

Could you render a buildup for this? (without turret, simple popup is okay) Would use as a mercenary barracks.

Search for a basic tutorial, even a simple buildup where the objects come out of the ground at different times would do the job. With those textures you don't even need to do anything complex, make some simple movement and it will look great.

Otherwise, if you could turn it into a 3ds scene file, I could do the animation. It would be a waste if this beauty doesn't get his buildup anim.

Uhh, I haven't researched what meshes are, try turning into a poly if it gives you trouble, I believe you should have none.

Try moving the slider that says 0 / 74 and see if something happens, if not then just make an animation yourself, press the autokey button, select the WHOLE model and press the key (literally a key that's next to the autokey button), then move the slider to another time, move the model aswell, and press the key again, that's the basics of animating, the objects you selected will move from one point to the other in the time between the two frames you selected.

Sorry, my english got a little rusty in that last pharagrahp. Try it a few times, if you need more help, pm me.

The fun of 3ds max comes when you make a box and make it an editable poly / mesh, try it, you'll have fun Wink

I agree, if you want to practice more, try moving the keys on the time slider, you can copy keys with shift click. Also try the link option, an object that has been linked to another will suffer all the transformations that the parent suffers, that will help you make the building pop up by parts.
