I have an issue concerning not being able to load games anymore, getting IE when trying. I've encountered this before as an error which revealed itself to be caused through surpassing the maximum number of allowed units.

By the way Lin Kuei Ominae, when am I gonna be able to use that sexy MMKII from your avatar?

Most likely, you added new animations in rules.ini and forgot to add the firestrm.ini animations before.
Add after 707=INVISO all the firestorm animations. Then after them add your new animations. Else you get the savegame bug.

The UMP already has this done (beside many other fixes), so when starting a mod, it's good to use that as a base.


If that wasn't the reason, you could upload your rules.ini (since I can't decipher except.txt files).

Do you use ETS? It could crash due to this one. It was never finished to a perfect stable version afaik.

Try keeping animations and other ID lengths at 8 characters or less
e.g. BLOODSPLATTER
TS is partially using old DOS filelength restrictions (8.3 filenames), thus an animation like this could cause trouble.

Does BHAND has a proper sequence in art.ini?
Infantry with no sequence also cause the savegame crash.
Same with PILOT and HE3 and several others, which have no Image= key in rules.ini, and since i don't have your art.ini, couldn't check if they have a Sequence set.


You have several new warheads in use, but nowhere defined in the [Warheads] list. Make sure all used warheads are listed there.

I used to use ETS but when I try it now from the same .EXE that Revolutionary, a former member gave me, it says "Failed to Initialize. Please reinstall". Could be due to me running Windows 8.1 and not Vista anymore.

I don't even really care for the features in that mod so I plan on erasing all entries from it anyway.

Alright, I'll try renaming it "BLDSPLT" or something instead.

BHAND, PILOT and HE3 all use the E1Sequence, should be working fine.

I'll try this, thank you. Even though the Warheads work fine even though they're not listed, I'd rather play it safe.
