I tried 'compat mode' and 'Run as admin' but still nothing. Nada, zilch.
The only thing that pops up is the UAC saying yes or no, and of course nothing happens after clicking yes.
Didn't find anything on google so just hoping on you guys for this one.

Just fyi the teamviewer people spy on their users, I know someone that was shutdown because they claimed watching his security cameras from home was a business use...

Why not VNC or derivative?

Disable UAC, install as admin. I have it running fine on Windows 8.1.

You can ignore G-E. They're not spying on you.

I've used it for years. You have to be compromised by a third party source to get watched. If you're not, you're good to go.

Oh btw Fen, does it need UAC to be turned off to work? Or just during the installation part?


EDIT: I must be doing something wrong because it's still not installing. Oh Lord, help me!

Does it have to be teamviewer? I've used VNC on many machines including dvrs with great success.

Are you getting some sort of error when installing? When running? Is it not connecting? It's probably something else. Since I have it run fine on Windows 8 at home and at work, it's not the OS.

Nope. No errors. Nothing. From the looks of it, the installer doesn't run at all. As I've mentioned in the first post, only the UAC pops up and I assume that is because the installer is started with 'Run as admin' command. Maybe the anti virus is interfering somehow?
