I think it's great that many of them are not symetrical. The RA2 maps are pretty much symetrical to add fairness, but I think asymetrical maps are more interesting and add strategic challenge.

wow, i love the super smooth textured and normalized MK VII Viper.
The classic Viper and the Cylon fighter look excellent too. Even though i always preferred the classic Cylon fighter (it simply looked sturdier and tougher).
Didn't we have a Galactica VXL on PPM as well?

Its Ra2, its meant to be small and cute! Razz Not much in Ra2 is size or realistically correct.

yeahhhhhh, that model was pretty garbage, considering I did it like what, seven, eight years ago? I'm debating fixing it up in 3ds and using a custom pallet to make it useable. And larger. Much. Much. Larger.

Yeah i found that new galactica too when i did a quick search.
Though i could have sworm i've seen a classic Galactica in very good quality as well. (however since it was long ago, the quality might have been impressive only in my memory and nowadays it would be only seen mediocre)

Finally! I have gotten around to looking at my voxel webgl render again... This time I want to try and build this into my site. So you can view as 3d before download if wanted..

One of the few obstacle I had was all files are in archive files... Well the good news is that PHP is just one of the most amazing things that this planet has ever created! And it has zip reading functions...

Now I just have to clean, finish and maybe fix a few things...

Updates to the site all over the place on my site!

***New site feature: I am really proud and excited for is this 3D point cloud render I created.
Note* This is still WORK-IN-PROGRESS so it can be a little buggy...
IE. hva locations/animations, turret/barrel have some issues... My 3d viewer still needs more work.
Site home page contains demos links to official RA2/YR units...
So any voxel that can be download from my site, can be viewed as a point cloud if wanted.
In the voxel download section there are render image/links for each download to click on for 3d viewer.

***New site addition: Image Gallery has been added to the right sidebar to house cute little images I have from modding or what ever I want...

***New site addition: Mod called: Specifications Eliminated Warfare: Version 1.0
This is a very simple mod that removes country specifications, along with a few other changes.

***New site addition: Left sidebar had some work done to inlude pages for more Ra2/YR maps, along with category selection for the voxel section.

I have also released two new maps.

You can download them from the Yuri's Revenge map section.

.tmp files drawn on HTML canvas using .tmp files not image file like (.bmp,.png,.jpg...)

ctrl+u shows funny JavaScript source code... the PHP is even worse... Laughing

Any one know why I had to multiply isotemp.pal's RGB values by 2.45 (random guess, just changed it to 3.00... So I do not know...) to get them to a color they should be? is that some kind of ambient light level? If that is true any one know what its really meant to be?

HTML 5 canvas is awesome! I am trying to figure out trees (shp's) kind of a pain in the arse...


Does any one understand the shp file structure? This cant be the only explanation...

the blue text is index values for the pallet color... Witch is good! this is what I want to find... But all that other stuff ...  before it... no idea... Confused
the red text seems to indicate the number of empty space's from the X value from THeader_Image but still at loss at what all that other stuff is...
