Is it possible to give debris to a projectile? I'm trying to make so when a missile explodes, a few debris bits come flying out of the explosion. This is basically just to make the Chemical Missile look kind of neat but I'd really appreciate it if someone told me how I might go about this.

I think the best way might be using airburst weapon...

I did that. It looks like crap. It's like a multi-missile but a whole lot worse.

Maybe add a animation to the war head that will spawn a piece of debri?

Yes, but it would be limited to one animation (animations can move over the screen btw, like meteors, or whatever parabole)

I think your best bet is to use a particle system. Clone one of the standard particles systems and their corresponding particle (WeldingSys for example) and change the colorlist entries to green (ie chemical stuff)

I tried the particle system. It didn't work very well. However, this sounds like just what I might need. Yet it just does not want to work for me. I must be overlooking something, but what? Why can a meteor spawn debris but a missile can't? Doesn't make sense to me.

Because a meteor animation has meteor=yes

You mean IsMeteor=true? I have that tag in there too, oddly. It doesn't cause debris though, nor does it do anything else. The only thing that tag does is make animations fall from the sky.

Ofc i meant that Smile

and yes you need to specify what debris it will make and how much. look at METLARGE or METSMALL for that.

it would even be possible to give your Chem misle warhead an invisible meteor that so fast there's no delay between it appearing and crashing into the ground, and then generate debris.

So you can use the Meteor logic to do a lot of different things, eh? Question, does the meteor always appear from the top of your screen, or will it appear in the middle of nowhere if you have your screen in the right place?

(pondering TD Airstrip logic...)

I went ahead and copied all of the meteor info and put it in the respective chemical missile entries. It still doesn't work. Perhaps I'm overlooking something or just messed something up. I'll fiddle around with it.

FinalMoon, a meteor appears at a random spot on the map above its target, just like the drop pods do.
