I'm sorry, I can't resist. This thread makes a shout out to heavy fuckin music. Anytime someone posts about a heavy fuckin band, I wish to up stage their presentation, with an even heavier band....

As for talent... this one song I linked from Aborted has a nice evil riff throughout. What other kind of talent where you perhaps looking for, besides brutality/evil? This song is the origin of disease, muthafuckah! The song is a basic riffage of carnage, whereas the "Leviathan" stuff is more atmospheric. Make ztyping sure you smoke some weed and maybe have a drink too. Weed & booze go hand in hand with this fucken sound from hell.
I personally say the screaming is always the number one hindrance for most people, when it comes to this tier of "heavy" music/sound effects. I mean, if the dissonance didn't ztype you off kilter, well, than the screaming definitely will!
FYI, I personally would prefer if those whiny or belligerent cock suckers (IE the vocals of Disturbed), or those screaming banshees (vocals of Leviathan), or those growling cookie monster sounding bastards (some vocals of Aborted) would just shut the ztype up.
The instruments are what make these kind of songs inciting (in a good way...). I don't give a ztype what your voice box sounds like! Save your speech crap for stupid rap songs for ztype's sake! I wanna hear those guitars loud and clear! And get the drums going too! Amen.
Its like you gotta force out the vocals, and only focus on the guitar tracks... when that screamo asshole flings some verbal shit at you... just try to ignore it.
OR! If you are in the right mind set? You can actually understand at least half the shit they are saying. And if the purpose is tied together - so long world! Go ztype your self right in the face!
