Do deployed infantry in vanilla YR get bonuses?

Do deployed infantry in vanilla YR get bonuses?
do they get reduced damge from enemies or extra range or anything at all?

if so, is there a way to control these bonuses?

Infantry use their secondary weapon when deployed, so you can give them an upgraded or completely different weapon, see the GI & Guardian GI for examples.

You can also use DeployedCrushable, Ares also adds Cloakable.Deployed= feature.

I wanted to know if it gave a range bonus so that I'd decrease the weapon range, am just making most of the infantry in the game deploy to make them hold their position , while using the prone sequence , I mean no new graphics.

Also am not sure where I heard this but non-deployed infantry get the damage reduction while prone , while deployed ones don't .
is that true?

Only AirRangeBonus plays with ranges - and that affects only Primary IIRC.

Yes, it's true ProneDamage does not affect deployed infantry, but that has a fix already.

Yes prone infantry receive less damaged then deployed, how much is determined by a weapons warhead.
