I can imagine this being an age old question but this drains too much hours away from all other tasks!

I do not really have an efficient method to position shp animations over buildings

i am using so far:

ActiveAnimX=
ActiveAnimY=

i would need something like:

TurretAnimZAdjust

but ActiveAnimZAdjust does not seem to do the same...

Anyone got a good tutorial for this?

Thank you!

You have to be more specific, are you trying to give buildings their own active anim? If it's just an animation then play around with YSortAdjust, YDrawOffset and/or ZAdjust tags.

ActiveAnimZAdjust works fine, negative means up, positive means down, without seeing the code/building it's hard to tell what you're doing wrong.

I am trying to position a building animation (naradr_a) over the shape of an unanimatd new building - ever since I tried this, i had difficulties in adjusting the parameters so that the animation sits on the spot it should.

Tried making the SHP for the animation the same size as the SHP is for the building and just sticking the anim where it should sit relative to the actual structure?
