Why does the game crash when my railgun-armed aircraft fires?

Let's see the code for the unit and the weapon. Otherwise, I have no clue how to help you.

All i did was set the primary weapon as mammoth mk 2's railgun.
i dbl-checked it and all the code is right

Ya IIRC there is a special way to do this, so look at some of the tuts like a good little boy.

btw try giving the MMK II the jumpjet locomotor, it's fun.

it isn't impossible........ try cloning the weapon and give it the new weapons name

i havent actually tried giving a railgun to a aircraft (as i find its abit silly)

but i do remember years ago, in the TS Gold mod the unused hind voxel (the orange one with the stupid black disk) was armed with a railgun and periodically (if not 100% of the time when it fired cant remember) used to cause Internal Errors.

So i think dvd is right on this one (not impossible as such) but will give internal errors when it fires

Yeah i think i tried it.. (NOT for TSTW smiffgig) and it sometimes crashed,sometimes didn't, probably related to ROF and MaxEC of the particle
