The light around the tiberium tree is generated by an invisible light post.

yes by downloading final sun map editor and opening the map then edit it and then save the map in the TS directory. If your going to edit offical maps you will need XCC utilities to get the map out of the mix files.

what do you mean by that? I'm always interested -_-

so basically I can't change that color by replacing something in the rules.ini? I have to do it on every map ?

hmmm shouldn't be that difficult
I'll try this weekend when I have some free time

Den Leiw, on most maps, an invisible green light post (INGRNLAMP) is placed in green tiberium fields. Since you've changed green tib to orange, you could just edit the INGRNLAMP to make it emit the orange lighting you need. What about these values

LightVisibility=2500
LightIntensity=0.3
LightRedTint=1.0
LightGreenTint=0.5
LightBlueTint=0.01

If it's too bright, reduce LightItensity to 0.1, if it's too weak, try 0.7 orso.

it was easier done than I thought

i could quickly try it out and got this :

*btw I changed tiberium color to Darkorange so it looks better*

-->>http://den_leiw.tripod.com/tsscr2.jpg

looks good IMO

thanks for the help

but for the second question :

can you change the Tiberium Color which you see on Radar?

The only thing I could find out was changing the plant trees colors by editing RadarColor=XX,XX,XX

Hey the lighting looks good! i knew it Wink

as for you second question....no. I don't think it's possible, radarcolor= seems to be only for terrain OBJECTS (trees etc) and not Overlay (tiberium, veins, etc). And yes it's a pity, it's also one of my problems.
