Internal error…
I have some problems with my mod, I get an internal error after I or the AI deploys the MCV. I have tried to make a LAN game and I have had the same problems then, so it is probably not the AI. The things I have changed are:
The Infantry
The Vehicles
The Aircraft
The building
The weapons
The art.ini
I have changed many tags on buildings and units but the ini checker does not find any errors. I have also modified some other values previously but I had no problem with them so I do not expect that is the problem either. I have also deleted some units/building and I might accidentally have deleted some important ones.
What I would like to know is if there is a debug or developer mode and if so, were I can find it. Another thing I would like to know is if there is a way to play the game in windowed mode
Any suggestion on how I should try to solve the problem? QUICK_EDIT

Does it report exact errors then? Instead of general internal error?
by the way, if it crashes after you deployed a conyard, most likely one of the triggers that fires as soon as the player or the enemy has a conyard, is bugged. QUICK_EDIT
Well I did some more testing and it does not seem to have anything with the MCV after all since I tested to play a game without bases. I also get the error when I am making random maps (before starting the game) and I get the error earlier (on the loading screen) if I play, select a map. The only way I can even see the MCV is if I make a random map with minimum on all sliders. The error I get when I start the game on a almost blank random map is:
From the exept.txt

Actualy its not a secrete. Just not well known. I learned about it about a year ago over at Sleipnirs. _________________ No power is ever inherently good or evil. It is how that power is used that determines if it is good or evil.

I have tracked down an error in the weapon list. This may not be the only thing creating an internal error but I do not know what is wrong with the weapons.
Problems with MCV lies on the unit or on the unit it deploys. Make sure that the unit it deploys into:
- exists and is properly declared in buildinglist
- has Image= or its internal name matches an entry on art.ini
- if it has a weapon (Primary= or Secondary=, make sure it points to an existing weapon). QUICK_EDIT
how do i type the command line to run degug mode. As i too have internal errors and my mod is so huge i dont know were to start looking. I've defaulted alot of things to narrow down the problem but I always get a error about 45 to 60 min into skirmish. Ive added about 40 extra units and added more units to ai autocreate teams all works fine and i can build them too. tried playing without them same problem. just cant find the error, please explain how to use debug. maybe i can fix this.
