New Palette and Natural Light for Voxels (New voxels.VPL)
Subject description: the fall of TS/ra2 engine is unavoidable

two years ago I worked on a new palette for voxels, I managed to add new colors to the Scrin
the render of voxels is extreme bright in RA2/YR In TS is perfect... I Don't know why :c
But my new VPL have a similar effect (in theory is more dark aslo )
Maybe is necesarry change this codes in RULES.ini (more bright)

or use the .cscheme tools of SHp builder and VXL section (more dark and more white.
How convert your original files to the new palette?
easy... use the .cscheme or add new custom palette (but new palettes no works fine under ambient lighthing of super weapons)
how install:
1.- insert or copy the new palettes and the voxels.vpl in a mix file or the directory of your ra2/yr
I wanna make this post a king.
it is amazing especially the .vpl gonna use it of course.
one request can you upload some of the alpha-lights and light posts as public asset?

May I ask you HG_SCIPCION in that first picture you posted, what in gods name is that mod is it just a private project you've been working on? it looks really nice i love anything TS remade for RA2
If you change the palette or VPL file for voxels, then every single voxel in the game has to use that same palette and VPL because there is only one of them possible. Correct?
The same is not true for SHP files though. Correct? QUICK_EDIT

Almost correct, see footnote.

Incorrect. NPatch/Ares is required to pick another palette, and even then some assets cannot have new palettes (walls or disguises).
