Is There a Mod of Yuri's Revenge Based on Red Alert 2? where the Yuri Faction is not there except the expanded units?

No I only wanted the ra2 loadscreens and music and the menu, with the yr improvements

Well, in that case. .

I've attached a 'mod' for you that restores the RA2 themes (music), and changes the main game loading screen back to the one seen in RA2. I'd add the menu screen title/radar sweep video too, but that's 7MB.

If you really want that, you can simply use XCC mixer to extract the file "ra2ts_l.bik" from language.mix into your RA2/YR folder. Doing so will make that file override YR's version of the same video, changing the menu title.

The rest of the menu are just extremely minor things that you probably won't notice.

EDIT: to use it, just extract everything in the zip to your RA2/YR directory.

How can i change loadscreen of every faction?

Since you're not using Ares, you can only limitedly change the load screens.

To do so, you'll need to create new graphics, convert them to .shp and .pal files, and name them in a special way so they replace the existing game files.

Tutorials on how to do this can probably be found on the forum with a simple search.

Refer to the table in the attached image to know which files are used by which country.

Note that changing this still won't remove the load screen text. The special unit, its description, the current mission map, and the country names, along with flags will remain regardless of what you use as a load screen image.

Bu............but.....but when i do change it appears like an acid covering my screen

that means it's being displayed in the wrong palette. The SHP file needs to be accompanied by the PAL file it's using. see the table for how to name both files.

Alternatively, you can use Ares, and use a PCX as a load screen (but this requires you to change the rules file, etc.

Why i am not using ares cause it always gives me errors

As far as I remember you need some update for the Windows OS.
Also you need to try different sets with the compability and Administrator options on the ares.bat file.

Perhaps someone else might know what you need to do. Smile
