Mixed Asset Thread
I've been digging up lots of old assets I made or modified and that I see no point in keeping for myself. Since I don't think it is warranted to start a separate thread in each of the appropriate subforms for each of these numerous, but in large part inferior, files, I will just add them to this thread over time. Help yourselves to anything you like!
Hint: Ares users with access to the TibSun anim.pal can produce an animation almost or entirely identical to this one by simply setting IRONBLST (or a clone thereof with Image=IRONBLST) to use TibSun's anim palette.
Various sound effects; an inhuman death scream, a sniper rifle, machine guns, an airstrike, a plane crashing, explosions, tesla buzzing, an anti aircraft gun, a weird forcefield-ish "wobbly" sound...
......Isn't that "hwacha" a PLA Type 89 MLRS?

I'm glad that you found it useful - right now, it appears that sounds will be the most promising category of assets that I will be posting here, I've since dug up a large number of them in my old files.
Attached to this post is a collection of three jet fighter voxels, which might have been Su-27s and Mig-29s, in TS size and Nod scheme. Credit for these goes to Haydn, I simply repainted them to fit TS, and touched them up abit regarding normals and general shape.

Nolo contendere Most of them goshdarn terrible, but the Kremlin one seems useable, even if for St. Basil's, not for the Kremlin, if anyone wants to make that buildable. _________________

Chinese menu background. This works with the Soviet menu background palette, but not quite perfectly - though it does have its very own charme in-game. If anyone cares enough, I can bother to dig up the original image and make a version in a custom palette.
You should really vector-ize that background, it'd look sooooo much nicer than a pixelated mess; Also not sure how it looks as a background or why it IS a background since it's a chinese propaganda piece titled: Quotations from Chairman Mao Tse-tung (the same as his book), unless he's in power in your mod, as it's kinda despicable if he's not, in my opinion.

In the version that background is from, Mao actually *is* in power (it was set in the 1950's and China was a playable faction). The unfortunate pixelation is a product of the conversion to the Soviet uibg(?).pal
Your link seems to be dead; I took the picture that formed the basis of the SHP myself, during a trip to China a decade-ish ago and it's still floating around somewhere on my HDs, I just have to go look for it. _________________

Very good! If anyone cares to have a remake of that background, this image can be the basis.
Attached to this post and, because of the attachment limit, the next few, are several pieces of music, which were all used in the indie game "3010", drawn from the RPG Maker community, and used in an early build of my mod.
