Hello everybody I'm new here but a man of few words as well, I could not find a proper place to introduce myself as a newcomer so here a small experiment that I'm working on. As well other things when they are ready.

Welcome to PPM, it's nice to have new blood here, especially with 3d skills. Smile What 3d software did you use to create that nice piece of art?

No you don't know me yet PussyPus, thank you DonutArnold i use 3dmax and the term illustration fits more since it will be a long road until my works got the title of art.

I would call it art already now.
Nice job on the biker (looks a bit like Machete) . Approved!
Model, details and texture look good enough to be used already now as an ingame asset.
Only the lighting might be improved a bit, so you get a tad more contrast, darker self-shadowing and a few brighter reflection spots (might also need small specular level adjustments on the material), so the textures don't look that matte like plastic.
You can check out this tutorial where i've uploaded some camera/light templates for buildings, but the same can be used for units too.

Oh and welcome to PPM. Smile

Thanks for the welcome Lin, lol about machete was just causality (as well broadcasting it at a TV channel where I live today), I try to edit the materials to look what i can do on my next projects since is a problem on the SHP builder about the colors, also using building shadows on infantry inst odd? unless is a TC mod it might be compressible, on a side note I learned to make preview gifs on the fly yesterday.

You can use OS Palette Builder to customize the palette as well. The Red Strip from the bottom left is used for remap so you can change that color to suit your renders and use your new palette when importing it into SHP Builder.

Are the source models from GTA: Vice City? They look VERY similar.
