"Lets get one thing straight: the Convoy variant came first. The Fortress variant was built after the Scavs found it impractical to use a giant tanker truck for combat and it was easy to see why. Moving such a long trailer during the heat of battle was a pain in the ass and the resources put into building one meant that it was too valuable to be an expandable asset. So their mechanists had to build a cheaper compromise.

The Fortress variant was so called due to being used as a mobile bunker/barricade within Scavenger camps, although its not unheard of for them to take one or two out on raids. It hauls a "Battle Box", modified from a short box trailer that could only carry enough ammo and supplies for the crew and the additional six escorts assigned to it. No swarmer missile turrets or expanded cargo space for more supplies and additional infantry squads, just dual tractor-mounted machineguns and six guys of your choosing perched on top. It does have one trick up it's sleeve: in the event that the tractor is knocked out of commission, the Battle Box remains largely intact though marooned at it's current location, enabling surviving passengers to use it as cover until help arrives."

- The Safekeeper, entry #93

Notes:
-This unit is unique to the Wasteland Scavengers subfaction
-Can carry 6 passengers (size limit 1)
-Leaves behind a Battle Box when destroyed
-Passengers can fire out
-Cannot be pilot sniped
-Immune to omni crush
-Original voxel by Tacyarts

While I cannot maintain that this is an original idea (it's probably from Mad Max: Fury Road), the idea of implementing it in a mod certainly is original and the general implementation and the art are appealing. It is also, in my opinion, a very fitting unit for the Forgotten.

Updated voxel and a few stats change.

Originally its armed with dual heavy machineguns which did splash damage and a bunch of dudes in the back to throw a barrage of molotovs at tougher targets such as tanks. This has since been changed. The dual heavy machineguns no longer deal splash damage but are more deadly against infantry and light vehicles. Replacing the molotov dudes are a pair of swarmer launchers which can unleash up to eight standard anti-armor missiles in a burst. These act like the Cyborg Reaper's split missiles in that they will hit random targets apart from the initial target. This enables the Dreadnought to deal damage to multiple hard targets but the low damage, low firing rate, and lack of anti-air means it will still find use in it's main strength which are the five passengers it can carry.

Here's a pic of a pair of them firing their swarmer missiles:

The Dreadnought got a new graphics, changing the long tanker trailer to a shorter box trailer. Sorry if yall preferred the former but I might bring it back as a special variant in the future...

Anyways the Dreadnought has a quicker turn rate now and no longer has a secondary weapon, so its only armed with dual machineguns. Instead it can now carry six passengers and will leave behind it's box trailer when destroyed, which can be used by any surviving passengers as cover. The box trailer cannot be repaired and while it obviously cannot move, it can still be airlifted by Skycranes.
