Reduce the voxel bounds in 3ds2vxl to remove holes, since 3ds3vxl (afaik) can't create 2 layer thick voxel.
Also fix the normals, which are in the wrong direction. Do you rotated the unit afterwards in the hva?

lower the Bounds to 70% or less to reduce holes and gaps in the voxel.
