Fantastic. May I ask how do you make the snow frame?
A mixture of the screenshots and my own painting. I also use some of the snow from the release version where the prerelease snow looked too cartoonish. _________________ PreRA2 Dev Lead QUICK_EDIT
I'm sorry? YOUR own painting?
You quickly mash up a dome and suddenly the entire thing is YOUR work?
Mind you i still have my wf psds.....
and now everyone does
He asked specifically about the snow - it's a mixture of the WW screenshot and my own painting. The rest of the WF is a mixture of your work and my own.
Buildup animation is pretty much done - most of the graphical glitches are fixed, just need to add snow transition frames.
FYI - a lot of the progress that we made in 2013 would not have been possible without his ingenuity.
Here's a quick comparison between Tomson's original and the changes I made - improved shading, alpha dome, fixed coloring, per-pixel corrections, buildup, snow frames.
I'm tired of having an incomplete project on my hard drive.
Ok well clearly im tired, secondwtq was asking specifically about how prime made the snow.
Tho some credit where credit was due should have been here considering not everyone would know the backstory of what's going on here so its not entirely without cause.
To rectify it i guess all i can offer is help to understand the shape since i can more less nail practically all of the art in 3D. _________________ Tiberian Dawn, Red Alert, Tiberian Sun ,Red Alert 2,Renegade, Command & Conquer 3,Tiberium and Tiberium Wars and Westwood related image & video archive

Will you be able to make sure the remap sticks in though? You can use a custom palette that changes some things to make it more easier for SHP Builder to not muck it up by changing the palette namely: Green Background,Blue Remap. So the only red it catches is converted to the Darkest Brick or the Pure Reds and Glowing Reds. _________________ ~ Excelsior ~ QUICK_EDIT

You can use it just in the conversion process. OS Palette Editor, previewing the progress in SHP Builder with the new palette should be satisfactory enough. _________________ ~ Excelsior ~ QUICK_EDIT
My SSD failed, and I thought I lost all of my newest prera2 work (PSDs, frames, resources, etc).
So I shipped my SSD off to DriveSavers and after some initial problems they’ve managed to extract a full disk image! So, $2400 later, I have all of my stuff back, or will in the next week or so.
Hoping to wrap some of these up for release! Thanks for your patience _________________ PreRA2 Dev Lead QUICK_EDIT
