You should make a challenge map where that little outpost is what you have to defend yourself with.

That would be a pain to defend when you can't send your units from one half of the post to the other. Though that in fact could indeed make this interesting/unique.

Funnily enough, I did consider a co-op survival scenario involving those outposts whilst making it.

The mega preview was made using the C&C Map Renderer, which doesn't support voxel shadows.
