I've tried installing RA1, TS, and Generals a bunch of different ways: TFD, original disks, CNCNet, Rampastring's TS client, and Origin. I've also tried several different versions of XCC Mixer and still I can't get anything under Found except Red Alert 2.

Is there something I can do to help XCC Mixer find the rest or should I just give up on it and try to figure out the files myself?

Just load them manually. Go to View than Directories. I know that TS and RA2 are grayed out as I think XCC want to load them by registry keys. Dune 2, TD1 TD2, and RA1 are freely editable.

XCC prob isn't up to date for TFD and Origin. CNCNet dosen't use registry keys. Than there is the OS it self may not let XCC read any registry keys.

Shouldn't 'Run as admin' fix that?

I'm glad my XCC Mixer doesn't detect anything at all.
So i can add palettes in a reliable way, not following some random registry crap code.

You may be right about the registry key thing because I installed from TFD first and TFD makes a stupid directory with spaces (command & conquer tiberian sun (tm)) which is idiotic, typical EA brainlessness. Now it seems to be permanently trying to take it from those installation spots despite it not being installed and mixer's cache being deleted and recreated. Only thing I can probably do to fix it at this point is a whole new registry at this point, so a whole new Windows.

You can just edit the registry key. IIRC it's HKLM/Software/Westwood/Tiberian Sun.

That didn't work, but I managed to fix the path by removing the "(tm)" stupid EA added to the path. Why the ztype any coder would do that knowing full well it breaks pathing is beyond me.

Cool, we will try this because for some time, my system refuses to start.
