the voxel size and shape do have an effect on how easy it is to hit
Never seen this before & I have voxels of all shapes & sizes, along with inaccurate weapons with 0 Cellspread. So units only take damaged when the weapon has a direct hit to the center of the cell the unit is occupying. _________________

Remade the Paladin Tank chassis a few years ago. The first iteration, I'll be honest, I copied too all the elements from Azri' and didn't bother adding any of mine back then.
Decided to alter the chassis first. Once I get a new monitor, might do the turret, power just won't feed into it. The two giant track wheels are the only identical ones from Azri's.
It looks similar to Moder.U's style in voxels, not bad at all, anyway have you used MagicaVoxel's VXL plug-in or just handmade with VXLSE III? _________________ If you are a MetalHead (Heavy Metal Fan) and don't want to be a metalhead, Just remove your metal ball from your head. :p .

I was aiming for a more azri-esque style, I guess the headlights made it otherwise, or... too much lines?
So far, I've only used MV for rescaling voxels. This is the first one I've rescaled through it rather than by hand, the rescale is messy, but managable. I'm looking to move over to MV soon enough. QUICK_EDIT

Lasher Tank Remaster and Capital Landship
As I said, next up's the Lasher Tank. Took me a while to fix the turret, the one I released looked too tall.
And another big boy, the Capital Landship. It was the first iteration of the hammer tank "remaster" before I stumbled upon MV for resizing. It was too big and looked NOTHING like the original, so it's just been collecting dust in my folders. Might fix this up, maybe base it off of the P. 1000 Ratte but as large as the Apocalypse? This one'll take a good long time to finish.
Inputs are always welcome
Anyway, that's all for now.
Next one up might be the Gatling Tank or something new maybe?

That's a splendid Lasher Tank, although I think the turret is still a bit too tall, especially when compared with the concept art.
The Hammer tank looks great, though realistically, I think the turret might have to be larger to house two cannons like that. Anyway, can't wait to see what becomes of the "capital landship". _________________

Might consider resizing the turret a bit later down the line.
The capital landship'll definitely have to wait, I've yet to sketch up a new design for it.

I think so too, yeah. I'm thinking of remaking the whole tank off of the install slide art "blueprints" instead. I've just finished the "Gattling" tank remake today through using its install slide. Took me a good while since I've been quite a bit distracted by other things- *cough* ...lipse *cough*

I like how it looks like it was made out of scrap parts and plates and duct-taped together.
If it falls apart, just use more tape. _________________ One and only developer of the Command & Conquer Dune "C&C D" mod.

I like the small details like the small gaps between the barrels on the gatling tank, I think most voxelers tend to just combine them into one thick barrel. Doesn't even look pixelated in-game. _________________

I never expected TS voxels, and i didn't know Rewire mod is still alive. _________________ If you are a MetalHead (Heavy Metal Fan) and don't want to be a metalhead, Just remove your metal ball from your head. :p .

Happy birthday to my Grand Cannon and some late uploads.
Today marks three years of this one voxel I made, really plain and old. The French Grand Cannon.
I didn't deliberately remake it for today, no. I just so happened to have been reworking it last night and finished it just today. Such timing. I'll be releasing this one over in the voxels section.
Lasher Tank has been remade according to the install slide "blueprint."
Reshaped the tail of the Orca Fighter. I'm holding onto it until I finish the Orca Transport for Rewire, and oh boy is it really hard to do.

Nevertheless, all three models look top notch. Shame the Orca doesn't have the shark face, though I can imagine it can look very pixelated. _________________

Grizzly Medium Tank uhh, 3.0?
This took me a good long while. Haven't done much since the last time I posted here, exams took most of my time.
This one's enlarged to be 60% larger than the vanilla one, compared to 25%. The last one still looked like a light tank to me, I'm pretty happy with how this turned out.
@MasterHaosis, the mastermind might take some time, the install slide lacked a lot of detail and lighting on the front dozer, I'll give it a shot though.

And here is another voxel, the Hyperfire Carrier. This took me four days, and some help from Creator. The aircraft loaded on it is a modified orcab.vxl found in the mixes.
• Orca Hyperfire Carrier - Allied (aided by Creator)
One thing to note: I didn't finish the wheels and tracks yet.
Wow... it's awesome! I think will not ask about when will it release because I think it will be rude. (right?) _________________ Call me a tourist, maybe? QUICK_EDIT

I lost the voxel from all the times I've been switching PCs, so I don't think I could.
Anyway, a little Capital Landship update. Two turrets, one in the rear as a flamethrower, and one in the front as main guns... for whenever Ares gets multi-turret support, and a slight edit of Issly's Rhino. I do plan on making the Landship chassis than what it is now, but it's been burning me out lately.
I'll be making my own Rhino next once I finish this damn chassis.

Type 5 Chi-Ri, B.A.Znd style
- added tracks as improvised armor for some more ammo rack protection
Edit: 12-20-21

Type 5 Chi-Ri B/Kai
Lore:
Spoiler (click here to read it):
The Type 5 Chi-Ri B/Kai is a direct upgrade to the Chi-Ri (A). It was developed and produced the same year the Chi-Ri A was cleared for mass production, targeting the glaring issues that had arisen in several combat situations, as well as improving manufacturing efficiency, battle effectiveness, and survivability.
The Chi-Ri B introduced the Mitsubishi suspension, standardized the Type 5 88mm gun, applied spaced armor on the sides as seen on the German Pz.IV Ausf.H, as well as upgrading the power plant to the Mitsubishi-manufactured Maybach HL230 P30. Gross vehicle weight was around 42 tons, and with the 690hp of the HL230, the vehicle had a specific engine power of 16.42hp/ton over the projected 13.09hp/ton with the detuned Ha-9 engine of the Chi-Ri A.
The kanji on the right side means "Medium Nine" to signify the Chi-Ri B from the later Type 6 Chi-Ru/Se which is similar in profile.
The kanji on the left side means "116" for the 116th Mindanao Tank Battalion which first used the Chi-Ri B.
- Mitsubishi/Bugatti Suspension
- Type 5 88mm gun based off of the Type 99 AA gun. (currently not present, but doesn't look too different from the Type 5 75mm barrel)
- Spaced armor
- Mitsubishi license-built Maybach HL230 P30

definitely not a Tiger Ausf. B...
Type 7 Chi-Ru Plan 1
Chi-Se hull with a German engine deck. 120mm upper and lower glaces at 70 and 8 degrees respectively, powered by a license-built Mitsubishi HL234 engine. Fitted with a modified Type 5 105mm high-velocity gun. Around 60 metric tons, top speed of 45km/h. Perfect for hunting T-34s... but only 20 were produced.
Remade spaced armor also applies to the Chi-Ri B/Kai, old one was horrible.

Just an FYI but the Type 5 Chi-Ri only got as far as a single unfinished prototype, development was then canceled in favor of the Type 4 Chi-To. The Type 5 Chi-Ri B/Kai & Type 7 Chi-Ru are both fictitious designs invented by modern model kit makers. _________________

Yes, the Type 5 Chi-Ri was left as an unfinished prototype without its gun by the end of the war, however I don't think it was canned for the Type 4, just prioritized less.
Type 3 > Type 4 > Type 5, with the Type 3 being born due to the Type 4's long delays.
From what I've seen, ne5596's models are custom-made by mixing parts from different model kits. Both the Chi-Ri B/Kai and Chi-Ru are mine really.
The Chi-Se isn't entirely fictitious... at least I think so. I based the barrel off of a diagram floating around.
