SHP Palette Analyzer

A quickly slapped together tool to check which colors are used in TS SHP files.

Installation:
unzip in a folder of your choice (best one with write permission)
start the exe

Usage:
click on Select SHPs to add files to the list
mark all files in the list that you want to check
press Start

if "Analyze Palette Usage" is selected, it will count the number of pixel using each color
if "List files using a selected Color" is selected, you first have to select a color in the palette and then tool will then deselect all files that don't use this color

Warning:
the operation can be very time consuming as this isn't done in multiple threads and a 2MB SHP can take a minute or longer to analyze.

Nice idea though... but I wonder what the practical use is.

The only thing I could think of is detecting the existence of theater-sensitive colours on C&C 1 common-theater SHP files, which would indicate problems... but I doubt you made this for C&C1 modding.

Bittah needed a tool to check over all DTA SHPs, which of them use the glowing colors and which colors exactly.

So when you plan to change the palette, you can use this tool to check which colors are unused or which can be rearranged.
