So I know for faction balance the superpowers have been removed for balance reasons as GDI and Nod don't have any ability super power weapons. But theree were a couple of general powers that were more along the lines of minor attacks and were shared by both GDI and NOD. I'd figure they could be brought back in along with the Chronosphere and the Iron Curtain.

Nod Hunter Killer Drone Construction Yard plus Research Center and you can have a robotics facility which gives you the Hunter Killer Drone from Tiberium Sun that would go and automatically find an enemy unit or building and destroy it. A great harassment weapon, if not one for any of those neat superweapon tricks involving iron curtains and chronospher.

GDI EMP Pulse Give it unlimited range though. Simply put this will disable all vehicles and defensive structure when fired. Does no damage and does not affect infantry (will affect the Cyborg prototype).

Just don't forget to add in the Allied Chronospher for teleporting units and the Soviet Iron Curtain for invincible units and buildings.

Nothing was removed.
GDI has the Ion Cannon
Nod has the Temple of Nod Nuke
Allies and Soviets have the missile silo nuke.

Chronosphere and Iron Curtain are not possible to add, because the TS engine (on which DTA is running) doesn't has the logic that would support these.

Right now the Superweapons are balanced and each side got one. It would only unbalance things if new SWs would be added for a few factions only.
