The staff from No Life Studios has recently released Zero Hour Reborn v7 Alpha 0.1, in open alpha state, whatever it means. Certainly, it means it is not finished and it requires your feedback at their Discord Channel to track bugs and balance problems.




Zero Hour Reborn is a mod that tweaks Generals: Zero Hour with new units, upgrades and a new way of playing the game, among other things. Here's the huge changelog:

Quote:
General Changes:
- Misc code optimizations
- Fixed a bunch of misc strings
- Removed a bunch of stuff that were broken
- Armor damage values returned to ZH values
- Got rid of a bunch of crap that's no longer used
- Fixed a few misc particles
- Optimized a bunch of random stuff in the inis
- Increased base defenses' resistance against SMALL_ARMS damage from 50% to 25%
- Increased base defenses' resistance against GATTLING damage from 25% to 10%
- Increased base defenses' resistance against COMANCHE_VULCAN damage from 50% to 25%
- Updated the tooltip pop-up box
- Fixed artillery shell and mortar whistles
- Updated various string files
- Added generic deploy cameos
- Removed Navy
- New Mod logo
- Fixed a bunch of cameos that got broken while editing

- Re-eneabled the Singleplayer button for the main menu

- Everglade Island
- Hazardous Environment
- Lion Heart
- Night Sky
- Rundown District
- Tournament Coastline
- Territorial Alliances

All USA:
- Renamed Microwave Tanks to Warlocks

USA CiC:
- Replaced regular Aurora with Aurora Alpha
- Fixed a bug where Pathfinder can be built without getting the science
- Fixed hotkey conflict between Crusader Artillery and Ambulance

USA Assault Gen:
- New unit, Desert Patrol Vehicle. (Credits to Stalker for the model)
- New unit, Assault Warlock to USA Assault. Removed vehicle drones and added self repair
- Removed Humvee from Assault Gen
- Removed Paladin from Assault Gen
- Removed Adv. Crusader from Assault Gen
- Advanced Patriot now fires 8 missiles
- Abrams and Bradley now self repairs when not in combat
- Fixed a bug that prevented the Abrams and Bradley from getting disabled.
- Added new detonation fxs for Abrams and Bradley
- Added new voices and sound effects for Abrams
- Fixed the costs of assault gen's tanks so that they actually cost less than regular US vehicles
- Fixed bug where USA Assault can only build 2 airfields
- Fixed hotkey conflicts between Abrams and Bradley

All China:
- New model and texture for da Bunkah
- New napalm effects for China (not yet working for all though)
- Fixed a bug that prevented Tank Hunter missiles from turning properly causing their rockets to hit the ground most of the time
- New unit Leopard bomber. Replaces SU-34
- Edited China BGM. Added new tracks and fixed the transitions between them
- Added NO_COLLIDE kindof to Inferno Cannon Tank Shell
- Anti-ground HEAT round projectile now collides with incoming enemies
- Added NO_COLLIDE kindof to anti-air HEAT round projectile
- Small firefield radius increased to 30 from 15
- Edited China UI, added more red
- Optimized China War Factory Art codes
- Nuclear Reactor now have a generic building explosion when construction is cancelled
- New firestorm particles, now all the fire particles, at least for EnN Gen, are now uniform
- Fixed firestorm ambient sounds, it loops properly now
- Firefield now has ambient sounds
- Added new upgrade sound to China HEAT Rounds
- Replaced China aircraft stop button with Bugout, essentially does the same thing but with cool new icon
- Migs can no longer attack air, this is now the job of the J10s
- Mig Armor is now an actual armor upgrade, and not just an HP boost
- New Cameo for Hacker Van
- Decreased damage of Nukes
- Split Nuke damage to multiple waves, so that they can destroy GLA holes

China Rogue
- Brought back a lot of gen powers that were missing for some reason like cash hack
- Removed gen powers from the CC that weren't even being used
- Fixed and reordered the gen power menu and shortcut buttons

China CiC:
- Added New unit, Manticore, special thanks to Stalker for the model and textures
- Added Hacker Van

China E&N General:
- New Model for Battlemaster.
- EMP and Napalm Gen's Battlemaster no longer starts as elite
- EMP and Naplam Gen's Battlemaster Napalm Shells now do less damage to compensate for napalm damage
- Napalm shells upgrade removed, Napalm battlemasters now start with napalm shells
- Napalm battlemasters now use the same fire field as napalm tank hunters instead of the default fire field
- Napalm Tank Hunter fire field duration increased to 1500ms from 500ms
- Napalm Tank Hunter missile damage dcreased from 40 to 25
- Napalm Tank Hunter missiles no longer track moving ground units
- Napalm Tank Hunter weapon reload time increased to 2secs from 1sec
- Napalm Tank Hunters now have new anti air weapons that don't leave fire fields, thus burning all yer shit when a cargo plane passes through
- Mortar Soldiers now use napalm shells
- Mortar Soldier shell damage reduced to 38 from 75
- Mortar Soldier scatter and damage radius set to 15 from 25
- New unit ECM Trooper, replaces Flame Trooper
- Renamed Napalm Enhanced upgrade to Enhanced Black Napalm
- Inferno Cannons now benefit from the Enhanced Black Napalm Upgrade
- Dragon Tank now benefits from the Enhanced Black Napalm Upgrade
- Napalm Battlemaster now benefits from the Enhanced Black Napalm Upgrade
- Mortar Soldier now benefits from the Enhanced Black Napalm Upgrade
- Removed electronic research center
- Removed flame turret
- Removed gen powers from the CC that weren't even being used
- Fixed and reordered the gen power menu and shortcut buttons
- Re-arranged some button orders, mainly for factories, for more order and better visiblity (experiment)
- Napalm Bomber Strike ability now works
- All buildings start with EMP mines
- Units with ECM missile jammers now have new fx and radius decals
- ECM tank and ECM trooper now fire EMP beams to disable vehicles
- ECM Trooper renamed to EMP Trooper
- New cameo and voices for EMP Trooper
- Speaker towers now have radius decals
- Propaganda Center speaker now works
- Added Hacker Van to Propaganda Center
- Overlord Gattling Cannons now benefit from Heat Round
- Overlord Gattling Cannons now have an ECM field
- Overlord now uses napalm shells
- New fire fx for heat rounds. Modeled tracers and overheated barrels
- Added new tiny firefield (radius 15) used by Napalm Tank Hunters and Napalm Mortar Soldiers
- Added new unit, Raven Strike Fighter, replaces EnN Gen's Berkut
- Optimized Airfield Codes (all 4 hangers now have doors, thanks N5!)

- Added Special Weapons training, replaces Infantry and Artillery training
- Finally added proper cameo for Raven - thanks Andi!
- Helix now starts with Napalm Bomb
- Added whistling sound to Helix Napalm Bomb
- Napalm Bomb now spawns it's own Firestorm objects that have no delay
- Edited Napalm Strike
- New GP Napalm Carpet Bomb
- Replaced EMP Scatter Bomb GP with EMP Cluster Mines GP
- Officers can now do field promotions, so far only works on redguards and tank hunters because I'm lazy
- Added Raging Dragon Tank (at least code wise). It's main weapon deals more damage over time.
- Edited easy EMP and Napalm AI
- HD-fied a few cameos

China Artillery:
- Added Hacker Van
- Fixed Artillery Lord Cameo

All GLA:
- Edited Quad Cannon and Quad Tank weapon bonuses, they now gain pure damage bonuses and no RoF bonuses (since weapon delays below 67 don't work anyway)
- Reduced Quad Cannon and Quad Tank damage values to be closer to VZH values (v6 values were insane, even for Reborn):
- Quad Cannon damage: normal = 12/6; salvage 1 = 18/9; salvage 2 = 24/12
- Quad Tank damage: normal = 16/8; salvage 1 = 24/12; salvage 2 = 32/16
- Fixed Scorpion death OCL, it now actually spawns scorpion parts instead of POW truck parts

GLA Rogue:
- Added new unit, Tick Tank

GLA Dictator:
- Fixed a bug where training a terrorist grants Camouflage Upgrade to the player
- Fixed hotkey conflict between Air Field and Arms Dealer

GLA Terror Leader:
- Increased damage for Air Burst Scud Weapons

Was that Mod part of Reborn v1.0 Rise To Power that was released back in 2003? I remember i played this Mod 9 years ago as the very first Mod (Even before ROTR) i ever played in lifetime.

It is possibly is or it is possibly related to that. The only tip I've found about it is in the description of its ModDB profile:
