Hello everyone. It is really a long time since the latest time. In this article, I am going to introduce the Emipre, or the Psychic Forces of this mod.
Firstly, let us begin with the background story about the Empire of the Rising Sun in this mod. At the very beginning of the story, Japan is occupied by Commonwealth Of Sovereignty, a Super Power founded by the old Soviet Russia (in our timeline, the United Soviet Sovereignty Republic is an act about reformed Soviet, and the Commonwealth of Independent State is an organization leading by Russia. Apparently COS is a simply combination of these names, which symbolises a powerful post-communism Russia.) However, the dominance of COS is not solid at all. The governance of the Commonwealth rooted in the corrupted and disunited warlords, or "Shoguns". As time goes by, the nationalists and pro-liberl protesters tried to wage a revolution to overthrow the pro-Commonwealth government. To some extent, they successfully defeated COS. But it is all designed and guided by Shinro Yuria, who has ability to take control of people's mind. At the end of the Revolution, when people were cheering for their grand victory, Yuria activated the Psychic Beacon and control all the armed forces in the land of Japan - the remaining COS troops, the Revolutionaries and the warlords. They all become the "private" troops serving Yuria.
During the Revolution, the Japan forces furl managed to furl their buildings to avoid COS bombardment. Despite it is not always effective and sometimes the failure furl could lead to very serious consequence, the rebel finally master this essential technic. Therefore, now some buildings of the Empire can pack to the Nano Core, which grants better maneuverability to the Imperial faction.
When you are in very danger, you can choose to pack up most of your buidings and retreat to the nearby island. But it is not totally free - your production structures will lose all upgrades and the timer of superweapon will be reset. By the way, the Refinery and defense towers cannot be packed up.
Although mind control is very powerful, in modern warfare Air Forces play a more important role. The Psychic Forces suffered very serious loss when conquered Vladivostok because of the Laputa Airships. So Yuria decided to develop a new weapon for her Psychic Forces to confront those giant air monsters - the Liberator.
The Liberator is armed with a Wave-force Cannon with very long range. And it can open up a solid Nano shield to protect itself from Anti-air fire. It is basically an Airborne Wave-force Artillery with exceptional protection and maneuverability. Despite it is good at dealing with those huge monsters like Kodiak, it is still very weak against those tiny and annoying mosquitoes. So the Archangel is a better choice for Communal Players to fight against the Liberator.
Another tiny update is that the Worriers are now armed with better guns, which means that every shot will cause 25% more damage.
After all, the times are advancing. After 10 years of occupation and decades of development, there is no doubt that the small arms of the Imperial troops have also advaned.
Next, as the symbol of the Imperial invasion, the Final Squadron Protocol is more powerful. In game, there will be 25 aircrafts at most. At the beginning, the Empire can call 2 wings of aircrafts.
