X moves Z-axis, Z moves Y-axis, Y moves nothing.

You need to download the latest version (v1.39) from the SVN which has the ZXY layout fixed.

Note to Banshee: v1.38 is still listed on the PPM website as the latest version even though v1.39 has been out for 8 years now!

As for the hotkeys it uses C instead of Y to make changing layers more ergonomic.

As a reminder the scrollwheel skips layers on large voxels, it needs to be adjusted so the rate is not based on some fraction of the total, but instead an absolute speed.
